This project entailed converting an existing facility, previously used as an auto shop at the high school, into a chiller plant to serve the entire campus. After demolition of the existing shop equipment, work began to convert this space into a chiller plant with 570 tons of capacity.
The plant featured two water-cooled chillers at 285 tons each, one open-loop cooling tower, three 75 HP chilled water pumps, and two 20 HP condenser water pumps. New switchgear was installed to power all the new equipment, along with other supporting systems within the space. As the prime contractor, The Wright Company was responsible for managing all aspects of the project.
